Edwin Encarnacion recorded 127 runs batted in. Josh Donaldson paced all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .284. J. A. Happ topped the squad with 20 wins, and Aaron Sanchez, too added 15 or more wins, too Aaron Sanchez recorded a 3.00 ERA, leading regularly-used pitchers.

John Gibbons and DeMarlo Hale coached the team. The 2016 Toronto Blue Jays qualified for the playoffs as a wild card.
