Lou Boudreau led hitters with significant playing time by hitting .355. Bob Lemon and Gene Bearden topped the squad with 20 wins each, plus Bob Feller, too added 15 or more wins, too Gene Bearden recorded a 2.43 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.
