Willie Horton drove in 104 runs and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .273. Denny McLain led the team with 16 wins, and Mickey Lolich, too added 15 or more wins, too Denny McLain recorded a 2.61 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.
