Reggie Smith paced the team with 29 home runs, while Steve Garvey, Davey Lopes, Rick Monday and Ron Cey each walloped 20 or more, too. Steve Garvey drove in 113 runs and topped batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .316 clip. Burt Hooton paced the squad with 19 wins, and Tommy John, Doug Rau and Don Sutton each also added 15 or more victories also Burt Hooton recorded a 2.71 ERA, leading regularly-used pitchers.
