Rick Ferrell compiled a career batting average of .281 with 28 home runs and 734 RBI in his 1884-game career with the St. Louis Browns, Boston Red Sox and Washington Senators. He began playing during the 1929 season and last took the field during the 1947 campaign. Ferrell was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984.
