Dixie Walker compiled a career batting average of .306 with 105 home runs and 1023 RBI in his 1905-game career with the New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers, Brooklyn Dodgers and Pittsburgh Pirates. He began playing during the April 28, 1931 season and last took the field during the September 22, 1949 campaign. Walker was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962.
