Lloyd Waner compiled a career batting average of .316 with 27 home runs and 598 RBI in his 1993-game career with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds, Boston Braves, Philadelphia Phillies and Brooklyn Dodgers. He began playing during the 1927 season and last took the field during the 1945 campaign. Waner was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1967.
