Bill Sharman compiled a record of 1018 wins and 758 losses in his coaching career with the Cleveland Pipers, Los Angeles Jets, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Stars, San Francisco Warriors and Utah Stars. He began coaching during the 1961 season and last coached during the 1975 campaign. Sharman was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1976.
