Coaching Career

Dave Cowens averaged 17.6 points, 13.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game in his 766-game career with the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks. He began playing during the 1970-71 season and last took the court during the 1982-83 campaign. Cowens was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1991.
