The BC Lions of the Canadian Football League ended the 2006 season with a record of 13 wins and 5 losses for 26 points, finishing first in the CFL's West Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 2-0.

Defensively, the Lions paced the league with just 355 points allowed. BC chalked up 555 points. Dave Dickenson passed for 3,032 yards, and Buck Pierce spent time under center, too. Geroy Simon grabbed 105 passes for 1,856 yards.

Joe Smith carried the ball for a team-leading 887 yards.

The ball-hawking defense created 61 turnovers, topping in the league. Barron Miles picked off 10 opponent throws. Brent Johnson topped pass rushers with 16 quarterback sacks, helping propel the defense to an overall total of 58 sacks.

Wally Buono coached the team. The 2006 BC Lions won the Grey Cup.
