The Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League ended the 1976 season with a record of 9 wins and 6 losses and 1 ties for 19 points, finishing third in the CFL's Western Conference. The team compiled a postseason mark of 1-1.

The Eskimos scored 311 points, but the shaky defensive squad conceded 367. Bruce Lemmerman tossed for 2,271 yards, and Tom Wilkinson took a significant amount of snaps, too. George McGowan paced the receiving corps, snagging 60 passes for 833 yards, while Tyrone Walls contributed to the receiving game also.

Keith Barnette ran for a team-best 380 yards for Edmonton.

Wayne Matherne, Pete Lavorato, John Farlinger, Larry Highbaugh and Bill Stevenson each picked off 2 opponent throws.

Ray Jauch coached the team. The 1976 Edmonton Eskimos lost in the Division Final.
