Kavis Reed and Glenn Rogers each snatched 7 opponent throws. Malvin Hunter topped pass rushers with 14 quarterback sacks, helping propel the defense to an overall total of 69 sacks.

Ron Lancaster coached the team. The 1996 Edmonton Eskimos lost in the Grey Cup.
