The Roughriders racked up 606 points, but the porous defense allowed 710, most in the circuit. Kent Austin triggered the aerial attack, passing for 4,137 yards. Lucius Floyd hauled in 84 receptions, while Jeff Fairholm contributed 1,239 receiving yards. Ray Elgaard and Don Narcisse contributed to the receiving game as well.

Lucius Floyd ran for a team-high 677 yards for Saskatchewan.

Glen Suitor picked off 8 errant tosses from the opposition. Gary Lewis topped the defensive unit with 11 quarterback sacks, leading the way for a team which created 51 sacks.

John Gregory and Don Matthews coached the team.
