Antowain Smith rushed for a team-best 642 yards, while Kevin Faulk also buoyed the ground attack.

The ball-hawking defense pounced on 41 turnovers. Tyrone Poole and Ty Law each intercepted 6 errant tosses from the opposition. Mike Vrabel sacked quarterbacks 9.5 times, leading the way for a team which created 41 sacks.

Bill Belichick coached the team. The 2003 New England Patriots won the Super Bowl.
