The Lions scored 480 points, while the defense gave up 399. Damon Allen triggered the aerial attack, slinging for 3,987 yards. Geroy Simon topped the receiving corps, grabbing 50 passes, while Ryan Thelwell added 815 receiving yards. Jason Clermont and Alfred Jackson provided receiving help, too.

Sean Millington carried the ball for a team-leading 740 yards for BC.

The sticky-fingered defense led the way with 57 turnovers. Tony Walker and Carl Kidd each intercepted 5 opponent throws. Herman Smith dropped opposing passers 8 times.

Steve Buratto and Adam Rita coached the team. The 2002 BC Lions lost in the Division Semifinal.
