Eddie Gerard compiled a record of 189 wins and 191 losses and 61 ties in his coaching career with the Ottawa Senators, Montreal Maroons, New York Americans and St. Louis Eagles. He began coaching during the 1916 season and last coached during the 1934 campaign. Gerard was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1945.
