Hap Holmes compiled a career record of 198 wins, 193 losses and 16 ties/overtime losses. He recorded 41 shutouts in his career with the Toronto Blueshirts, Seattle Metropolitans, Toronto Arenas, Victoria Cougars and Detroit Cougars. He began playing during the 1912 season and last took the ice during the 1927 campaign. Holmes was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1972.
