Frank Hughes scored 48 goals for the team, while Gordie Howe, Mark Howe, Andre Hinse and Larry Lund each tallied 30 or more, too. Larry Lund contributed 75 assists. Ron Grahame earned 33 wins for the squad, and Wayne Rutledge added 15 or more wins also. Ron Grahame recorded a 3.03 goals against average, leading qualifying goaltenders.

Bill Dineen coached the team. The 1974-75 Houston Aeros won the AVCO Cup.
